BERKELEYSIDE: Opinion: Breastfeeding on the campaign trail
Having my baby daughter, JoJo, saved me emotionally from the deep despair of the 2016 election results.

Confronting Inhumane Treatment of Immigrants Under Trump Policy
This is heart-wrenching and immoral. As a new mother, my heart aches for this woman and others being put in her position as this administration cruelly rips children away from their parents. This does not represent American values.

El Cerrito Mayor Gabriel Quinto Endorses Buffy
Honored to announce the endorsement of El Cerrito Mayor Gabriel Quinto for my campaign for State Assembly: “When it comes to addressing the housing and homelessness crisis, fighting for a clean environment, and progressively representing our East Bay communities, we can depend on Buffy Wicks to deliver results in the legislature. Her inspiring grassroots campaign featured 160 organizing parties and over 500 volunteers contacting tens of thousands of voters about key issues. That’s exactly the approach to politics we need to fuel resistance to the Trump administration and pass solutions to the problems we face here in California. I’m proud to endorse Buffy for Assembly District 15.”
