THANK YOU AD 15
Thanks to your hard work and dedication, and the belief of thousands of our neighbors and friends, I am so excited to announce that WE DID IT! The Associated Press just called our race, and we won last night with 56% of the vote!
I’m humbled and grateful to the incredible team of volunteers, supporters, and voters who got us here. The ground game we built over the past 18 months gave us our competitive edge, and that was all about the commitment and passion of people throughout the District.
This was not an easy campaign, and the volunteers and the support from the field kept us going. Together, we knocked on 114,559 doors and talked to residents in every community throughout AD 15. People throughout this District welcomed us into their homes to talk about opportunities and challenges in our community and to think creatively about solutions. These listening sessions—239 of them in every corner of this District—helped inform all of our policy priorities and proposals.
And I promise you, the commitment to talking with you, listening to you, and incorporating your ideas into our policy priorities will continue in my role as your new Assemblywoman.
I am starting the work today and am committed to delivering on our shared priorities: bringing more funding to our public schools, tackling our housing crisis with
Enjoy our success today, we have absolutely earned it. Then it will be time to get right back to work—this time, in Sacramento.
With my deepest thanks,
