House Parties for Buffy

Had a blast in Rockridge at Stephanie’s home talking to neighbors about gender equality, immigration and what they would like to see from the next Assembly Member from AD15.

A very special house party hosted by my old friend and fellow organizer, Natalie. We had a lot of parents and kids with us this Sunday and had a blast talking about how to better fund our state!

Visiting my friend, Professor Matt Freeman’s class was a very special moment for me on the campaign. As a community college alum, I was so excited to share my story of how community college gave me the opportunity to go from living in a trailer to working in the White House.

My fellow Obama For America alum, Carmen hosted me at her home in Montclair. Carmen is a firecracker, devoted to bettering her community and getting Trump out of the White House.

Our awesome supporter Zoe hosted her roommates and friends for an exciting house party where we talked about college debt, housing affordability and the future of work. It was great to connect with young adults in the community and hear their perspective.

Nothing like walking to a house party! My neighbors, Julie and David, housted a rousing discussion on how California can push back against Trump and continue pushing the progressive envelope.

Bonded with fellow parents while bringing my daughter to Debra and Peter’s house party. JoJo stole the show!

Spent the afternoon in El Cerrito, celebrating the city’s centennial bash before heading to Ben and Ada’s house to meet friends and neighbors.

Really enjoyed speaking with fellow mom’s about education, safety and protecting immigrant communities. Thank you Jen and Nicole for hosting!
