House Parties for Buffy

Thank you Claudia for hosting the campaign in Berkeley! Claudia and her guests stressed the importance of having a strong line of communication with elected officials and keeping priorities local.

Kim Kruckel is a burst of energy and clearly a friend to many– she turned her house party into a neighborhood potluck! I love seeing people get creative with their events.

I met Myrna at her daughter Stephanie’s house party in Rockridge. Myrna is a fierce feminist who gathered friends and neighbors for a discussion focused our shared progressive values and women’s rights.

It was LIT! Thank you Jill and Addisu for hosting an awesome evening in Rockridge. As a fellow organizer, Addisu canvassed his neighborhood and got back to his grassROOTs.

I met Belle and Michael at my neighbor Julie’s house party in September. It was great to catch up and hear from their community.

Spent the afternoon with my host, Mike, and his neighbors talking about what an assembly member can do for our community and how the state legislature can impact local homelessness.

Spent a fun evening in Berkeley with my host Julie, her daughters and friends for a lively discussion on the Bay Area’s economy and the cost of higher education.

Met with a room full of parents to talk about California’s public education challenges and the need for increased funding for k-12 schools.

No better way to meet voters than over a scoop of ice cream!
