What a weekend on the campaign trail!

Thank you to the people of #AD15 for trusting me with your votes tonight! I’m so proud of the campaign we have run – 160 house parties, 30,000+ doors knocked, countless phone calls and over 500 volunteers who believe that we can create an equitable social safety net that allow every access to good public schools, affordable housing, better public transportation, and clean air and water. I’m so proud of the organizing work we’ve done together. This isn’t just about me – it’s about “we.” It’s not about tonight – it’s about what we can do in the future to serve the communities of the East Bay and establish California as a beacon of progressive governance. Onward to November! #TeamBuffy

Final weekend before Election Day, and #TeamBuffy has been running full tilt towards the finish line! We had a Saturday and Sunday filled with house parties, farmers markets, street fairs, and good ole’ canvassing & phone banking voters. Thanks to everyone who joined us! We are ready for Tuesday! #AD15

At tonight’s house party – number 156 of our campaign – folks are really aware of the major issues facing California: housing, education, criminal justice reform, the environment, and health care.

Busiest weekend of the campaign yet! Here’s a recap: we had SEVEN house parties – in Richmond, Berkeley, Albany, Oakland, and Piedmont – bringing our grand total up to 150!

We had a packed weekend of campaigning: five house parties across AD15 (from Richmond to Piedmont), the Cinco de Mayo Festival in Richmond, and our neighborhood teams knocked on thousands of doors to talk to voters about our campaign.
