Dolores Huerta Endorses Buffy

I am so honored to share that I’ve been endorsed by one of my sheroes, Dolores Huerta. This one is extra special to me. Dolores’ work with the United Farm Workers is the stuff of legends. Her life-long pursuit of justice for immigrants and workers, through community organizing, has inspired generations of activists.

When creating the grassroots organizing model we used on President Obama’s campaigns, we sought to emulate the successful work of Dolores, Cesar Chavez, and the farm worker movement. It’s fitting that the phrase Dolores used as a rallying cry for her movement would become President Obama’s campaign slogan. #SiSePuede #YesWeCan
