Berkeley, CA. — Today Hercules City Councilmember Roland Esquivias endorsed Buffy Wicks to be the next Assemblymember to represent the East Bay’s District 15.

“I am proud to endorse Buffy Wicks for California Assembly,” said Councilmember Esquivias.  “Like most supporters, I met Buffy at a local house party and was immediately impressed. It’s clear Buffy has the skills to build diverse coalitions both in our community and in Sacramento to pass bold progressive legislation addressing our housing crisis, boost funding for our public schools and bring workforce development to District 15.  I urge my East Bay neighbors to vote ‘Buffy Wicks’ for State Assembly.”

“Councilmember Esquivias is a dedicated public servant and I am honored to have his support,” said Buffy Wicks.  “We share a passion for the local community and I look forward to working with him on issues of customer protection, environmental stewardship and workforce development.”
