BERKELEYSIDE, Opinion: The Buffy Wicks we know: Progressive champion who gets results

Grateful for the words of support from Vincent Casalaina, former Northern Vice Chair for the Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party, and Emeryville Councilmember Dianne Martinez in today’s Berkeleyside. Both Vincent and Dianne are leading progressive voices in AD15, and having them in my corner means the world to me. I’m prepared to lead on a big, bold progressive agenda for the East Bay. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and fight for universal health care, affordable housing, increased funding for public schools, and ensure California continues to lead on a green agenda to fight climate change.
