Building and Construction Trades Council of Alameda County endorse Buffy Wicks for California State Assembly, District 15

OAKLAND, CA.  – The Building and Construction Trades Council of Alameda County announced their endorsement of Buffy Wicks today to serve as the next California Assemblymember for District 15.

“Today we are proud to endorse Buffy Wicks for State Assembly District 15,” said Andreas Culver, Secretary-Treasurer of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Alameda County. “She has the skills, experience, and drive it will take to forge alliances and push legislation in Sacramento that expands workers rights, solves our housing crisis, and creates new building trade job programs. She is undoubtedly the best choice to represent working families in AD15.”

Other leaders endorsing Buffy include United States Senator Kamala Harris, California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, Richmond Mayor Tom Butt, El Cerrito Mayor Gabe Quinto, Emeryville Mayor John Bauters, Piedmont Vice Mayor Teddy King, Hercules Mayor Chris Kelley, and many other community leaders across the district.   In addition, she is endorsed by the East Bay Times and East Bay Express newspapers as well as the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 104 and the Northern California Carpenters Regional Council.
