Thanks so much to my good friends Kris Perry and Sandy Belzer Stier for hosting me at their home in Berkeley tonight! Kris and Sandy were denied a marriage license in Alameda County in 2009 following California’s passage of Prop 8 – so they stood up for their right to marry by taking their case to court (Hollingsworth v. Perry). They had Prop. 8 struck down, and in doing so successfully won – not just their right to marry – but the right of all Californians to marry the person that they love. You two are an inspiration. Thank you! #LoveWins
